Our Location

How to Find Us

Arley Arboretum is just off the A442 between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth, tucked away amidst beautiful countryside on the banks of the River Severn.

For a spectacular day out, you can visit us from the Severn Valley Steam Railway! Arley station is only a 15-minute walk, via the footbridge across the River Severn. You can even take a shortcut through the St Peter’s Church grounds.

Whichever way you arrive you will be blown away by the views. With the Arboretum, Garden Tearoom and surrounding countryside waiting for you, you will melt into the peace and tranquillity of our beautiful location.

Parking

A free reinforced parking area is available on the left hand side of the drive before the second cattle grid.

It is sign posted, although the signs often get knocked down by vehicles and sheep!

Please do not park on any part of the righthand side of the driveway as you approach the main Arboretum entrance. There are specimen trees in this area with fragile root systems; as well as 2 access points which must be available at all times.

Parking on the lawns after the cattle grid is prohibited as these are maintained lawn areas and vehicle damage causes many hours of work for our small gardening team.

Important Update

As we continue our commitment to sustainability and improving our guest experience, we’re excited to share that the entire Arley Estate — including the Tearoom and Events Venue — will be going cashless from January 2026. This change helps us reduce our environmental impact, streamline operations, and support a more efficient, secure, and modern way of working across the estate. We’ll continue to accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as contactless and mobile payments. Our team is, of course, here to support anyone who may need a little extra help adjusting to the new system. Thank you for joining us on this positive step towards a greener future for Arley Estate.
